Whether you fly, build, restore or simply enjoy airplanes and aviation, you are welcome to attend our events and join our Chapter. Visitors are welcome at any of our monthly gatherings and do not need to own an airplane, be a pilot, or an EAA member. We would be delighted if you would join us at a future gathering to share the love of aviation.
EAA chapter 1023, based at Greenwood County Airport (GRD) in Greenwood, South Carolina, is a local chapter of the National Experimental Aircraft Association. We are a group of aviation enthusiasts, aircraft builders, and pilots who get together with like minded people to share ideas, exchange information, encourage safety, serve the local aviation community and have a lot of fun doing so.
